Technical Panda 4x4 Propshaft

I am after a 2013 Prop shaft, I believe the panda 312 prop shaft is the same as the 169.

If anyone has an old one knocking about, regardless of condition I'm interested.

I'm an experienced engineer and am looking to remake the mounting so it doesn't fail as it commonly does and to potentially make it a replaceable feature.

Mine has failed and I think if the bearing mount was remade as a split design I may be able to solve this issue. I'm located in Southampton..

Correct - 169 and 312 use same prop shaft. Complete new shaft with support and bearing ‘only’ about £250 from a few UK supplliers. Looked after (ie used frequently and washed after mud or salt) mine have lasted over 60k miles without issue. (Fiat charge over £1600 for the shaft!!). It seems those that see less use are more prone to the problem. Like the sound of a split support though.
