OT - is off new car shopping today..... suggestions?

The new fabia is a petrol. 1.4 TSi - supercharged and turbo unit.


Very VERY different to drive to the 2.0 TDi we have now.



Kate doesn't like the look of the Focus or Astra... Plus with the sums we've done - our budget is £13-15k now... so an auto focus or astra is out the window.


The same spec Polo comes out at £20,000!!!! the Fabia is £13,500.


If I can convince kate to get the fabia we might only keep it for 2yrs, then upgrade to an Octavia VRS in time for the children


The wait time for a Fabia is 16 weeks!!!!!

I'd go for the Skoda,
search 'google' for diesel hot hatch........

you'd be able to get the skoda vrs or a SEAT FR diesel-mad machine under the wife radar.

Always buy a year old for 60% price, you could get a FOCUS RS if you try.

If only i had that money to play with
