General Oil Pressure Warning Light/Message

I've had an issue with the oil pressure light/message coming up on my 2004 1.4 petrol Idea. It's comes and goes, but the pattern is this: I start the car and after 2-3 minutes, the light and warning messgae comes up on the dash. The oil level is fine and it's recently had a full service at a Fiat garage. It's been doing this for about a year and I've done several 200-300 mile journeys, so I assume the pump and engine isn't knackered.

Any thoughts? My thought is that the oil pressure sensor and/or connection is faulty. Where is the sensor and its connection located?
