Hey guys, can anyone tell me what size allen this is for the drain bolt?

There is a Harbor Freight nearby but now that I have the bolt off I will be replacing it with one that has a 3/8 drive square socket on it for a ratchet. My original threads are a bit stripped at the tip anyway and this bolt is the same size/pitch, plus it has a nice wide rubber coated metal washer so I don't think I will have leaky problems.

Its a Dorman/Motormite #65384

It fits a 1999 Dodge Ram 3500 5.9 Diesel by application.

Here is the new one/old one side by side.

I think you'll find that the original plug has a conical thread on it while the replacement you've found has a square thread. It should all still work but don't be surprised if it still leaks - also make sure that it doesn't hit anything internally (again it shouldn't but it is still worth checking) I think the only thing that could interfere is the oil pickup.

The new bolt was conical as well, just can't tell from the picture. It went on fine and it didn't bump anything so we're good :)
