Sounded too good to be true. Chris Knott have never been good for me, as are always beaten by adriun flux, HIC and greenlight insurance.

Depends - the over 25 bit just relates to the save 10% bit - they're still confident they can beat any quote you send them, just not by the 10%.

Still worth calling IMO

Modifications are definitely ok - and while I'm not sure on the advanced driving qualifications per say - what I can tell you is if you find another insurer who DOES offer you a discount with them, you can then bring this quote to us and then the "beat it by 10%" rule comes into play ...

What we can't do is beat a quote, then offer you a further discount - if you get what I mean?

how about engine conversions? pretty much all insurers said no to me.

I'm not due until may, but if they cover engine swaps, i'll bare it in mind

just called them and NOOOOOO!

The guy was very very nice proper person not like a robot from india wich was good, but the cach is that you have to be 21 or over to get the discount

Ok - engine conversions are a YES and also not age dependant

I also missed off that they offer a free courtesy car, both for fault and non fault accidents - which is quite a nifty feature I must say.

And bulldog - not quite, they are now a forum advertiser, *but* the more policies sold, the more the prize can be next time!

I'm an ancient geezer & Saga just quoted me £168.96 with £100 excess for my spanky new Panda dualogic altho it doesn't include all available additional cover options
