Thought I would share this with anybody having trouble connecting their ELM327 or iDiagnostic KKL interface (I have both) to the computer or Laptop. what ever the software you are using for diagnosing you may be having trouble getting it to connect to the car. The computer can see the ELM327 etc so make sure your computer and interface are using the same port etc this will be achieved by having it plugged into the car with the ignition at position II, if you press connect and get a can't connect error. Turn the ignition off and close the program on the computer. Now turn on the ignition and then re-start the program and connect.. This works for me with both adapters every time.
