Hi guys. I have a 99 Seicento Sport Abarth (witch I assume is a SPI), and as you guys all know it doesn't come with a temp gauge.
So I learned about the eml327 and wanted to get one to be able to read some parameters on the car.
So I searched for the obd 2 port and couldn't find it. Its not under the dash or anywhere inside the car. So I searched on the internet and found out that my car as a 3 pin adaptar on the engine bay. So i bought an adapter from ebay, a 3 pin to 16 pin adapter for Fiat, Alfa and Lancia.
Then I bought the adapter the eml 327. When they arrived I got on to instaling them.
So what I did was, I cut the power wires from the 3 pin to 16 pin adapter and extended them, because it didn't reached.
Then I connected the eml327, and instaled the torque pro app on my phone.
I connected the bluetooth and paired the device. And got nothing. The app says that it can't connect to the ECU.
Is it not compatible? Does anyone tried doing it and worked?
