General Newbie here - looking for inputs

Hi all
new to this forum
Been looking for a classic 500 for a few years as always been wanting one. My Dad had several when I was growing up so always had a great fondness for the wee machine

Ive found a part finished restoration one and while Im mechanically sound in respect of knowledge, I would appreciate if some of the experts on here could take a look and see if they spot anything concerning etc

got loads more photos if required

Fuel tank to me looks odd but I would defer that to your inputs

Tank is from a D model 1960-1965 looks like someone has done their own thing under the front....

Looks like early wheels as well...

Seats possibly 126.....

I'm sure those with more knowledge of later cars will be along to comment...
whilst the paint loks all shiny... do you have pictures before it was applied?

It depends what you want from the car... would you look to return it to look original, modify it for a bit more oomph...
Will you want to fit alloy wheels and lots of other shiny bits

Had a better look at the car and think I will skip on it - something in my gut does not feel right about the car

Did find another one, right at the other side of Austria but can ship it to me for about 350 euros. Good price too - less than 5000 euro. Needs a few things doing but its a runner and has the equivalent of an MOT till April next year. lots of things replaced this spring -

starter battery
tie rod end inside / outside
distributor cap
distributor
finger breaker set
spark plug
leaf spring mounting
bracket leaf remote seat rubber (top / bottom)
brake hose front and rear
wheel brake cylinder all
silent block for steering knuckle & leaf spring
steering knuckle repair kit
front wheel bearing . Front + rear
window frame with seal / set left right
opening window lever left / right
hub cap 4 pieces
rear light glass left right
air intake hose
Gearbox seal set including oil seal for shaft & man
underbody protection

So might go for it
