New project car purchase 82 Spider 2000

Hey folks, new to the forum. I just acquired an 82 Fiat 2000s FI w/ air for free. It's in pieces, but everything looks great (no rust most parts are good/new). I was wondering for all of the folks who have put one of these together, what is the best approach to take with one of these? I have a rolling chassis right now with the engine in it. I was told the motor ran, but haven't tried anything with it yet. I've restored a few other american cars, but haven't tackled an import yet. Any thoughts, ideas, sites, etc... would be greatly appreicated!
Also, is this 2000 the same as a 124? Any details on what models are what would be cool to learn about.

What exactly did you goggle? I just want to know where the best place is for me to start. I am thinking about getting the body work done by someone else since I admittedly am not a great body guy. I will do all of the mechanical myself. Maybe pull the motor and ship the rest of the car to the body shop while I tinker with it? Thoughts?
