Technical New Gearbox?

I'd be inclined to check the oil level in the gearbox/diff.

Have you looked underneath for any sign of leaking fluid :chin:

Yes I checked this. Now seems to have problem with specific gears, mainly 1st and 3rd. But some days its smooth as anything

What about lubing the linkage?

There is a pin in the linkage that is 3mm Dia, mine has snapped twice before...1st time around 80k. I have had a mild steel bolt made up and the part machined to allow it to fit. The bolt is now 6mm.

The problem selecting sounds like what mine started to do. Does the gear stick move alot when in gear and feel as though if you knock it it will drop out of gear? Could be this link problem...
