Technical New crank pulley problems.

After my idler tensioner went wrong I decided to replace it along with a new crank pulley.

The new pulley from fiat had been redesigned with shorter bolts, since
fitting it I have chewed the edge of three belts and come to the conclusion that it is mis-aligned with the rest of the pulley's.

It looks somehow I am going to have to shim it out some how, has anyone had this issue.:bang:

Replaced my Crank pulley with an item from shop4parts about 8 months ago and had no issues.

Have you still got the old pulley? you could lie em flat on a table next to each other to see if there is any difference.

Good idea but I fitted it about 3 months ago and dont know if I kept it, will have a look tomorrow in the shed.

After some investigation it looks like my altinator is sticking out more than the other pulleys.
