The current UK Brochure and Pricelist indicate that the 160 and 180 engines come with the Ecopack as standard, including a smart alternator.
The Ecopack does not appear to be available on the 120 and 140, even as an option, and implicitly, in the light of no other information, these come with a standard alternator.
Options may vary in other markets, however, and I would still want to check with a dealer on order rather than rely on the implication.
(There are ways of overcoming the issues around habitation battery charging, etc. with a smart alternator, but they are extra effort and cost).
