General need help pretty bad !!!

ive got a mk 1 ... 1.2 punto sporting (abarth kit) with a japspeed cat-back exhaust and a 1.6 fiat bravo throttle body on it (these was already on when i purchased the car), only issue is it splutters slightly until about 4 thousand revs then kinda kicks in and revs out fine, on cold mornings like snow and frost it sometimes runs really really bad like theres a major misfire, once the weather warms up slightly its back to 4 thousand revs then fine, the throttle body is the only thing that i can think of, would putting a 1.2 sporting one back on it make it run fine ?

Difficult to tell.

I'd be inclined to put a code reader on it.

There are a lot of possible causes.

Try and find out if the injectors are original, if it was remapped, check ignition leads, thermostat, engine temperature sensor, check plugs.

You'd think so.

I'm inclined to think someone has fitted the TB, maybe changed the injectors, not bothered with a remap.

Some investigating is called for.

whats a tband any idea on how much injectors are ?

TB is Throttle Body. Injectors are about £60 a pop new. Check what has been deone to the car, check what injectors should be on it (ePER, etc.), do a code read.

Code read can saver you a lot of money (and a lot of faffing about).
