- WELL IT WAS A 1.4S NOW FITTED WITH 20VT
to be honest most of it bolts straight on i kept the tipo subframe i did remove it and seam welded it. i used coupe[ wishbones hubs ,legs ,arb, steering rack, throtle pedal, ecu . wiring loom , fuel pump, gearstick n cables, renewed all brake pipes , did the engine wiring myself with some advice of the fccuk members ,done full paint job myself thats what i do for a living ,fitted aftermarket rev counter , made the wings from alfa 145 because the 20vt has a wider front track and the wheels stuck out quite a bit ,i refurb the wheels and painted them matt black and the bumpers same ,i done it all on a very small budget i already had the engine box wiring some of the suspension wheels exhaust brakes i brought cam belt sterring rack gearstick rear springs wishbones paint ecu i think in total it cost me about 500 including buying the tipo and then lots of hours but i was all worth it i do own a coupe 20vt thats why i chose to go with 20valve engine as the 16v one has been done quite a lot if anyone interested in doing this to there tipo i would be happy to help where i couldVERY NICE How bigger job was it ? What did you have to change front end wise ?
