Grande Punto my gps 130 in go faster red

Introduction

well im half way through where i want to be now. so far, ice sorted, lowered on eibach sportlines, door cards retrimmed in leather, nice luxury mats rather than the standard fiat ones, (the red is growing on me lol) italian plates, real good wax all over. oh nearly forgot full tints all round (to legal limit):)

too come shortly, 18" wheels when i have secured buyer for standards, piggy back chip and r/r set up and a set of underside forge bracing. also to use the harley wax i still aint opened.....

also toying with the wire mesh grilles but really want to see how they look on a red gps.

heres some rather bad photos from the airport, was trying to be all artistic with the sunset and waited f*** ing ages trying to catch a plane coming in as a backdrop, i think i was upsetting security as they kept bombing around in thier nice ranger truck with the lights flashing.......
if you are having wheels done, i would advise powder coating rather than spraying them, its far more durable. and get them done gun metal gloss finish, looks the mutts then......

Tints rnt illegal on the front, po po told me u can have them on the front but they have to let 70% light thru, never pulled with the clio, they let 50% thru, and the c2 are full on illegal think they let 30% thru agen never pulled in 2 years

Yeah the bosyshop said that but didnt really want to pay the extra, ended up having to pay the tax man for allowing me to drive on the shocking ****e roads of britain for another year :( so they wont be done any time soon, may just save and get some abarths :p

hahaha I do like the titanium 18" Abarth ones that come with the assetto kit but Sgpetch sell the 17" version for a tad under £700 for 4 :| which I aint prepared to pay to say the least. I'd probably kurb them the week I got em haha. I like the standard Mjet alloys but they are a pain to clean. I did a quick photoshop of the abarths on mine and I think they look sweet especially with the huge red calipers behind them (even if they are in the wrong position haha) check my MMthread for the pic ;)

you think they are a pain to clean? you can come and do my zcw`s they are a nightmare on elm street, freddies revenge to clean. i did them today and it took me a complete c.d. from start to finish including dressing the tyres lol. mind you 25 in the shade, and a bit of music to entertain the pensioners next door cant be bad ;)

well its easter 2011, just had a full service, years tax, k+n filter, tmc tuning box, and some ferrari wheel centres to replace the porsche ones i wasnt too keen on. a full wash / polish and hoover later, add a touch of sunburn on the shoulders, and im all set for another year of trouble free motoring..... i still love me lil car ;)
if only i can find the time to actually open the clay kit .......

I used the Bilt Hamber clay bar on mine the other day, amazing stuff and took less time than I thought it would… well worth the effort!(y)
How’s the TMC kit? What’s your opinion? :tempt:

very happy with it, makes the car far more nippy, gives the odd surprise to fellow motorists that think you are in a 1.2 ......:) best £ part ive added so far.

well i had my first mot yesterday and it went straight through with no issues, had a 3 year service too so i got another years motoring ahead thats all paid for, fingers crossed. ive had no problems at all over the past year, the tmc box is performing well, the k and n filter gives a nice little sound when you give it some grunt, all in all i still love me motor. i am however having my wheels done in gloss black over the next few weeks just to change things up a little, ive had enough of gold and so many people reconize my motor from my road rage its unreal lol..............
just also a point to note, paying out for a full body mop was also a great investment, did a wash and autoglym polish last week and still looks better than new.

well i know my car is dirty but just put me wheels back on after a satin black refurb of the wheels, the shocks are sitting hih in the photo as i need to go round the block to settle them back in, but you get he general idea, i think the gold was a bit too young for me and the black brings out the colour of the tints........
