As has been said, there is a difference with one of the water channels between 8v and 16v so no, it doesn't fit with out so very careful drilling out. its not recommended at all.


I'm an 8v guy for road use, I loved my 75 Cinq was loads of fun, but there again I also loved my Mk1 Punto 16v, was still loads of fun but not as much as the Cinq.


very interested to know what this secret plan is that Whitz disapproves of. hmmmm cant be worse than a Redtop in a Sei that someone on here did or the FTO V6 me and my dad tried.

So after going to fix my cinq today I found that when checking the other hoses where tight I had cracked the one on the heater matrix thus it seeped out of there, so off to euro car parts for a new one, only £7 which I must say isn't that bad. Also found that I had a very minor leak on the matrix. So off to spend yet more money then one day I might be able to drive it for more than a few days without breaking somethin on it.
