In my opinion - go back to dealer you brought the car from and say u want the car taxe/mot as per description in advert or you want your money back,simple.

The Vehicles not as Advertised. I'd either:-

A.) Want it sorting by the dealer at NO COST to you.

B.) Return the car for a Refund.

Not sure about New Zealand but we have consumer rights here .
