General Mk1 - black spray paint??

Got a spoiler today, put it on before and the black is not an exact match so ime gunna respray it, It is tigersealed on so I will jus spray the parts of the spoiler that are exposed and tape the other areas. Checked halfords website, they sell fiat black 632, my colour code on tailgate says 601, would this be noticeable? If so were do I source 601 spray from? Secondly on the spraying part... I have never sprayed anything before, I will be going to halfords so what sand paper should I pick up, and does the primer and lacquer matter or is there specific ones I need to buy. Just wondering how long to sand it for?? After sanding I was going to do 3 coats of primer with 10 in inbetween, same for paint and then 2 lacquer, how far away should I be spraying from? :slayer:

I have heard you can trace 601 from fiats headquarters in ROME? Not to sure....

FIAT wont import spray cans to the uk.

Just get Halfords to mix it for you, or go to http://www.paints4u.com/ and order it there

Lol i was reffering to the paint being a bit faded after 12 years! Would a lower quality product not account for this?
