General Marea weekend driver's seat repair/replace

Hello, the hydraulic lifter thingy on my drivers seat is broken, so it only lifts one side. Right now I'm more or less sitting on the floor. Does anyone know if all the drivers seats in the Mareas are the same? If they are I'll look for a newer one, if not, how do i fix this? I'ts pretty uncomfortable like this.. thx

The mechanism isn't the same on all, as some are electric operated - but I would think you could use a Brava/Bravo or Marea hydraulic frame to replace yours.

Thanks for the info, I'm going to take the seat out and see if i can fix it. do I have to watch out for naythig special like airbag connectors or anything? It's a' 97, so i cant imagine there would be so much electronic stuff. Tho I have heard stories..

If there are any wires hanging down then disconnect the battery before you remove them.
