General Manufacturers warranty

I was wondering if anyone knows if the Fiats come with any kind of warranty ie Paint and rust etc
A good friend of mine told me that all mercedes have a 10 year warranty aginst rust and paint peel, that ford have a 6 year rust and paint peel. He could be talking absolute rubbish but i thought id find out.

Googled and got this as a first point of information... http://www.channel4.com/4car/road-tests/full-specification.jsp?version_id=3568 ...just 3 years it seems for the paint, but anti-corrosion's 8, which seems reasonable given the Stilo's galvanised.

EDIT: Just checked here... http://www.parkers.co.uk/cars/reviews/fiat/stilo-hatchback-2002.aspx?page=6 ...it says a bodywork warranty for 12 years, hmm, maybe a read of the handbook is in order.
