Technical low fap level fault

Hi all, just back from a driving holiday to Italy. FAP additive level low warning came on as we headed for italy and car started to go into limp mode. Got to italy and had 4 litres of additive added, however after many tries and four different official Fiat garages they are still unable to reset the FAP counter to tell ECU that it has had Additive added. When plugged in to examiner it says there is only 1025g of additives left. They said ecu needs to be told how much additive has been added but 4 fiat garages and 6 different examiner could nit work out how to do this...ANY IDEAS ...
Any suggestions would be most appriciated

Best thing is go to Peugeot as it a Peugeot FAP system.

You have to use Lexia to reset it and there is really long-winded process of things to do for it reset.

Thanks for that, i had a feeling that was the case and have booked it in for friday....Had 8 mechanics in Italy in Fiat garages look at it and they had no clue!!
