Hi my Croma jtd 150 has started to make a loud hiss when I put my foot down, I cant see any abvious leak I think it is driving as usual but noisey with windows down and sunroof open any ideas.

Hi,
Almost certainly a leak in the ouput side of the turbo. Possibilities are a split or disconnected hose or a leaking intercooler. Needs to be looked at as it could cause furter damage.

Thank you Robert I had the DPF warning on when we were on our way home yesterday so while still red hot did a regen and all well again! Strange thing is the hiss has now gone.I am thinking that it could be the bellows on the exhaust again
or the waste gate on the turbo opening or leaking.As I am thinking about new car
I will not put up with drama just need to make my mind up.
