Even the autosolo's i do demand a current MOT. The last one I did, they stopped a guy cos his MOT had expired, like 2 days earlier.
Having owned a couple of comp cars now, I can tell you that there is a massive advantage in building a car for the track only, not having to worry about MOT items, but it's also a lot of fun driving a competition car on the road
