Does look a lovely car! Would love to have seen it in the flesh. 1.3 engine must make it a really usable classic, especially if you want to hack up and down motorways without your ears exploding!!

It looked and sounded very nice.... After pounding Pippin up and down the M1, for MITcar -- which, actually, was jolly fun (I think I may actually be turning into James May -- except for the hair...): especially overtaking a sleepy Golf GTI driver... -- just occasionally, a 1.3 in a Panda does seem like a very good idea indeed....
Pippin performed faultlessly, though: and I got 46 mpg, at an average speed of around 60 (and that blasted orange light was on for the last 20 miles: although I only managed to get 31L in the tank...) -- with a measured top speed of 79 mph...!

They'd go quicker if you fitted a beetle screen (rounded) rather than a flat screen with beetles on it!
Sorry I missed MITCAR as I too had a grey YTGtie G250WRX and loved it to bits.
Just wish I knew then what I know now on the rarity of them.
