General Is my bumper original? (MK1 S75)

I've been told my bumper isn't original and that's why my temp gauge shows it's a bit hot when idle

it's a 1996 s75

when idle it can go up to:

on a highway:

I've changed almost all the cooling system parts during the last year: radiator, termostat, fan unit, pipes. water pump is 3 years old. no leaks, always paraflu in.

my car:

is it the original bumper?
or should I get this instead:

its not quite the same, the hole at the bottom is wider and longer.

But my bro in laws old 75 used to sit at the same temps and thats in england with crap weather so don't worry about it, aslong as the fan works, and it dont steam up dont let it bother you.

Any ildeing car temperature, I'd assume, would be hotter than one being driven. Due to the lack of air/cooling ect...

Like if your sitting around in traffic and the fan comes on. Its just because its sitting there doing nothing and getting hot without any type of cooling (air).

Personally, I don't think there's anything wrong with it. Don't see how a bumper would make much difference. Its still going to be letting in the same amount of air whilst idle, as it aint moving.

If you've got some cash to spare, buy a bumper like the one with bigger holes. See if it makes a difference. If not, sell it on. But I doubt it would make much difference tbh.

IF the temp drops when driving and rises when your not, then it could be the Thermastat.

Bumper looks normal to me.

Its not in the red, dont worry about it. Normal operating temp.
