Hi, I'm observing a failure of the central lock ( doesn't go with the remote control and even pushing manualy).
When this occurs, the electric windows don't work too.
Without doing anything, it works after a few minutes and fails again suddenly.
Anybody has suffered this kind of problem in his vehicule?
If so, could you fix it and how ?
My ducato is a x244 , 2.8 jtd , year 2005.
Thanks.

Hi,

I have not experienced the problem that has been described. The following are some general notes on the affected items, which may help diagnosis.

On the x244 central locking, electric windows, and electric mirrors are optional equipment. This optional equipment is supplied via the RH Cab fusebox, and also uses earth C20, which attaches to the RH "A" pillar just above the lower edge of the dash panel.

The RH Cab fusebox (B101) is supplied from midi fuse F71 (80A, white) in the battery fuse box (B99). Disconnect the battery negative if investigating the battery fuse box.

Control of the central locking and electric windows is via the "ABI" module, which on a RHD vehicle is located behind the glovebox.
