Technical Installing touch screen unit

So im thinking of buying this but i wonder if it will render the blue&me bluetooth useless?

no point in me buying one with bluetooth as i have blue&me but then if this one disables it im screwed... any past experience? anyway to get it to work with the unit?

How are you going to fit this ? This unit is a double din but punto evo is single din.

If you are fitting an aftermarket stereo you can get an adapter that retains the blue and me functions. however like karm says it's only single din, however it is possible to fit if you take a hacksaw to your dashboard

I thought it was double din because of how large the head unit is?

I have spotted ones on Alibaba that are meant to be a direct fit. Not entirely sure of how well they would work though.

As previous post says this unit does indeed fit retaining the original car controls.
I tried one of these but if you read my posts on this you will find I had problems with the radio.
The reason being is that the original head unit amplifies the car aerial, this unit does not.

Then a little inline amplifier may make it work better.

Tried that , only improved reception a little. Think its the unit itself.
