Well, Certainly not something that started life as a Dodge. They just don't get the idea of European build quality and the interior plastics would look cheap in an 80's Yugo.

Lol! I could also start up a new business supplying fords to banger racers, lol!
Well you can gift me a nice Sierra/Escort Cosworth or an RS200 or something.
I think you'd be out of business in 6 months.
Why's that, lol?
and a car restoration business specialising in saving the sort of cars that normally end up unloved and going to scrapyards, lol!
spend a fortune restoring cars that no one wants ?? Not a great business plan
Do you actually lol at everything, or is it just habit now to write it?

Ditto what SeanW said really.
That would be a hobby, for want of a better way of putting it; a rich persons toy, lol!
Besides, you obviously don't read Practical Classics: that's exactly the sort of cars they celebrate. For example, 1 issue gave advice on how to buy an Austin Montego, lol!
How sad your life must be, Andy, that you feel you have to judge others so. What's it got to do with you what car another person covets?
A lot of people who bought Montego's maestro's and metros 20 years ago believed there were supporting British industry and British jobs. Even though they knew they could probably get a better car for their money in them days that wasn't what was important to a lot of people.
Today people buy and restore these cars to preserve a bit of that way of life.
shhhh, you'll get called 'sad' by Eklipze3k because we're not allowed to have opinions about cars on a car forum. To each their own. I find people that buy a brand new Audi on finance because the badge a lot sadder than people that restore a piece of nostalgia.
You're allowed to have opinions about cars, judging someone else for their opinion is something totally different.
