ice skates - buying

after going ice skating me and my mate have made a decision to go 3/4 time a month.

thing is i want to buy my own skates, cheep ones to start obviously. this is only as the hire skates are pants, the blades arent blade and they dont curl up enough....resulting in falling over as you cant step over round corners (i found it to be the same principal as roller skating )

anyone got any reccomendations? i know bauer are good but expensive?
was thinking of decathalon but no prices on the website

bauer - no no, paying for a name
Decathlon - will fall apart
Nike - are MINT but $$$
CCM - Cheap and made to last, that would be my vote.
I have some Nike ones there quality
