General I want more power

Me and my girlfriend have recently purchased a fiat silo 1.8 petrol dynamic. We were wondering if there are any modifications we could do to enhance power performance. The vehicle is factory standard at present and we are new to the forum thing any advise would be much appreciated.

decent induction kit (I recommend BMC), exhaust (supersprint if you can find one, or they did one for the 1.8) and remap should see you around an extra 15-20bhp and it'll sound better.

Other than that there isn't much more you can do power wise unless you want to start spending some decent money (like cams, pulleys etc) after that you could look into NOS but then you might be getting towards the limits of the standard internals, may need to go for forged bottom end, pistons etc and would the gearbox cope?

Also you have to consider upgrading brakes, suspension, ARB etc it's an expensive game
