i want an alarm!

i want an alarm or something, ive just fitted ma sound system n i really dont want my car broken into or damaged. please help coz i really havent got a clue
wot i shud get? were from? or even how much are they? am i better off installing it myself or can i get someone to do it for me (professionally)?

im quite a cheap skate but ide rather pay out on some security than pay out on damages!

all help would be apprieciated!

Get an alarm from eBay and fit it yourself. I've used Hawk loads in different cars and they do really good alarms!

I've fitted one of these alarms Hawk if thats what you mean

And yes, was fairly easy, but it was the 3rd alarm I've fitted

So far I've found Hawk the best, and I even collected in person from their London Factory, and had a look around! Some really quality stuff!
