I have played for two hours with timing and checking of compression and I think my Bravo is broken. (see posts on help - compression figures) I did tdc on the flywheel, which was marginally different to the one on the crank pulley, moved the camshaft forward and back a few teeth all to no avail, tried the compression figures and pot one and three showed none two went to 150 and 4 went to about 30. bearing in mind this started from rounded cam lobes I think I have bent something in the head. Was still belching flames out of carb every now and then though. I am going to give it one last try later this week as I think ECU went funny and stopped anything working, if that is possible.
Missed the 1.6 so will probably be looking for a 1.4 replacement near Wales.
Just out of interest how much will it cost me in seals etc to do a complete engine overhaul?
Cheers
