Hi

I am thinking of selling my Punto HGT and would like to get an idea of how much I should be looking for before I list it, details are below;

2001 (X)
Yellow
1.7L HGT
Low Mileage 50,000
Sat Nav, 5 CD, Blue Trim
Full Service History (will be having one more before I sell it)

I brought this car in December 2003. It had only 26,000 miles when I purchased it.

I would appreciate any advice anyone could offer.

Thanks in advance.

Unfortunatley your probaly looking at £1000-1500 ish. No one really wants them hence why Sportings of the same year generally demand a higher price. A dealer won't offer you £2300 for it, I'd hate to think what they'd offer tbh.

They have a reputation for unreliability, but the real cause is poor servicing, so a good full service history is the key. Cam belt every 40,000/4years etc

Fully serviced without too many miles it should make about £1500 maybe a bit more. If the variater and am belt are looking old you will struggle to sell it for £1000 as the belt and variator service costs at least £500.
