General help with my 1.9 sporing punto please

ive got a 56 plate punto 1.9 turbo deisel sporting

on the way home the other night i had a huge cloud of smoke behind me for a few minutes and then its disappeared theres no smoke now at all but the car has no power at all... there is no turbo bosst and i can barely pull 60mph

when i opened the bonnet the only thing i van notice is that there is a crack in the manifold and i can feel the leak on my hand


could this be causing no turbo spool up and no power

any advice would be appreciated

would assume if theres a crack in the manifold you would be loosing pressure, if I remeber right the manifold and turbo are one part, could be completely wrong, but im near 90 % sure others have posted with the same fault

ok.. ive phoned up fiat they will sell me just the manifold dor 312 pound or the turbo and manifold for 630... i was just wondering if it was the manifold before i started spending money

Would you be Able to get a second hand manifold or aftermarket performance one cheaper? just a thought
