General Help required please

Picked up my Cinq SX today - silver N reg, 26K and she is gorgeous - I really enjoyed the 70 mile drive home.

However I noticed that every so often I get a 'shrill' sound from the drivers side (front wheel). Will this be bearings and if it is how much for the replacement parts? Is it an easy job?

Really happy with it otherwise...(apart from the handbrake!)


Would appreciate your thoughts.

I think so.

I am taking it out later, so will listen again.

Just been out for my first night drive in the Cinq

I think the noise might be coming from the engine bay. I don't think it has been serviced for a while so I think I will make this an urgent job and see if this has an effect.

It'll be the alternator belt I reckon.

Is it a high pitched whine which goes away when you rev the engine?
