Hi all, can you please help.

I drove over 400 miles over the weekend and all was ok. I kept around 70\80mph all the way.

Left it for two days had the battery moved from the front to the back.

Had the variator, spark pgs and cam belt changed 2000 miles ago. Drove her today and she will not go past 3,000 revs, it restricts, just like a diesel, change up a gear and all is fine again until 3000 revs again, and this is the same story in every gear. 3,000revs and that's it.

Throttle body cleaned out, induction kit replaced filter. HELP....

Thank you

Actually reading that again, as you've had the battery disconnected for some time, maybe the ECU has forgotten where it was and just needs to sort itself out.

Whats the best advice? I drove it casually today for 5 miles, still the same.

I may take out the airflow meter and clean it. I thought I put it in the wrong way and when I reversed it the car stalled, so I know it's the right way round.

Thanks for your help.

It's the airflow meter. Unplugged it and all drives fine. Going to check the old one now. If no joy I'll be callinh Fiat.

Anyone know any better places??
