How old is your battery, may have just passed its lifetime?
You could take it to somewhere like Halfords and they can test it, can tell you if its goosed, or if it could be re-charged.

got the car new so about 3 years got my mate to push it at dinner (only option) started rushed back to work only to see his pushed the outter boot skin in should just pop out though

One of the worst things you can do it lets unburnt fuel into the exhaust system which can damage the cat.......
decent quality jump leads or a battery charger is a much better option...
Did you leave anything turned on over night? head unit, sub or interior lights?
new battery need not be expensive but ensure when you fit it that the alternator is charging the battery

Everything gets switched of at night i double check it ill check prices after work but will get it tested at a few garages at weekend and compare prices if the webs cheaper ill get it of there cheers for the link

Andy Monty tried a little test last night after a long run took the battery of overnight to see if it started this morning it did do you reckon its something drawing battery? I.e headunit? Cause i wired it to the power socket to switch on auto
Could be check your fuse box is fully dry see faq electrical gremlin thread also fully charge battery and get it load tested
