Technical Got a P0141 Fault code... PLEASE HELP!!!

Hi all,

After checking the fault code on my 1.6 multi, I got the P0141 code.

As far as I can understand, this relates to the O2 sensor. This is where I have the problem, my Multi doesn't have a cat as far as I can tell, so when I rang the parts shop and asked for an O2 sensor and they asked if it was pre or post cat then you can imagine my horror!!

My question is, would it be a problem with the sensor on the manifold? as that is the only one I can see.... :bang:

I'm 99.9% sure your multi will have a cat. When they say pre or post cat I think they mean before the cat on the exhaust system or after the cat. Could be wrong..

just had another look and there is another right on the bend of the exhaust after the downpipe, does this mean the cat is located behind the engine out of sight?

That sounds about right, not having a petrol one I can't confirm this or exactly what it will look like.
