Technical Gearbox grinding

I have had a judder from my car for the last few weeks but it has been only ocasionally, so today i took my car to Mr clutch as they do free gearbox and clutch checks who said they couldnt find anything wrong

so i decided it might help to change the gearbox oil

I drove the car after and about 5 minutes in it grinded when i tried to put it in to 2nd but then was fine after that.

I used tutela zc75 oil as it says

Any idea what it could be.

Judder is not uncommon on puntos, changing the clutch usually fixes it. Often the judder can be caused by oilseeping through the oil seal at the front of the gearbox, which happens because the front bearing fails. Obviously if this happens the gearbox needs sorting as well. (not as bad a it sounds.

The judder hasn't happend since the oil change, I was more worried about the ginding but that hasn't happened again either

the gears seem much better now

could the grinding just have been down to the oil distribution after the oil change
