Hi, I am hoping that someone may be kind enough to help me resolve a problem with my 07 Bravo 1.4 T-Jet (150 bhp)

My local garage fitted two inner tie rods to my car. Since then the tires now rub on the inner wing/chassis when the car is on full lock, left or right hand. They claim that there is nothing that they have done that would cause that to happen.

Is there away to set the wheel turn lock on a Bravo or anything that they might have broken?

Thanks :)

Did you get the alignment done? (After they replaced them)
(usually local garages only replace the tie rod ends but don't do the alignment... they don't have the tools)
Take it to a specialist alignment shop...have them check and adjust

The steering rack does have some plastic spacers (under bellows).. they could have removed, by mistake?, them when they replaced the tie rod ends.
Take it to a mechanic to have a look. they only need to pull the rubber bellows off the steering rack.. and the spacers should be visible.
Have a look at this video (the plastic "C" shaped bits):

Hi, does anyone know where I can get an exploded view diagram of the bravo steering rack please.

There should be something in the ePER information that you can download from this site. I have made a cd will have a look.

I dont like the sound of your problem and I would get it checked by Fiat if necessary. They should not have done anything to affect your steering. BUt I do not believe in coincidence and they have clearly done something. It sounds as if some stops have been broken. It is possible that the car is unsafe although if you avoid the extremes of full lock you should be OK. What you dont want is to cause damage. Diagnosis is usually free.

There is nothing on ePER for a Bravo 07 on that I can find.
I need to check on the rack components as the garage are denying all responsibility.
