Hi guys
I just got my car back from insurance, long story, but now it seems that I have a problems.
The main display fuel gauge is acting a bit erratic at first it stayed at 53 miles when I picked the car up and after revving through all gears on the motorway to get used to it again it started to read the correct fuel level but it seems that it now goes from 200 to 150 to 190 then 187 and constantly goes around like that then settles back to a sensible level and goes down normally. What could be the issue. I suspect that the battery died/disconnected while they waited four weeks for the part and then jumped it without my knowledge before I picked it up so it started and there were no problems. I guess it could be it still needs calibrating even though i go through the revs so the ecu and ecm can get everything it needs and be right. I knew the fuel was off at first as the fuel gauge next to it was 2 bars when it would be none or 1 bar. The main display of fuel never seemed to match after this. would it matter that the car was in sport mode for the first few drives as i didn't notice they touched it?
Thanks for all the help
