Technical frozen handbrake

hi i just got a s reg marea 2lt 20v
got up this morning and hand brake is stuck on not sure if its fronzen on coz of weather any ideas

hi problem solved 20 mins with the hairdryer sorted it
ive just filled every availiable hole in cable with wd40

funny you mention it, mine was also frozen this morning! luckily the handbrake being crap anyway i just drove off and it unfroze after a short period, i have left it off tonight! take care, john

fortunatly my handbrake is no where near good enough to lock up a wheel John
