Does anybody know how to fit a Momo Race Air Leather gearknob to a Fiat Uno. The current gearknob is the standard factory item and I was wondering how to remove it. It doesnt appear to be fixed on with anything like a screw or bolt and Ive tried running it under a hair drier for half an hour to soften the adhesive, but that hasnt worked either. Anyone got any ideas?

Thanx

Hi

I'm new at this forum thing so bear with me. No one has helped me so I will help you.:DThe uno gearknob is tricky. It is the same as the Opel Corsa it's fickst. What I did was saw the knob off (yes off) and I made one out of aluminiam on a smale lathe at home and glued it back, but so that the shaft would slide in the knob so I can push it douwn in to revers.
So it is imposibil to fit the Momo knob because you cant tap the shaft and skrew the knob in and stil put it in revers.[V] Your best bet is to find a workshop that can make you one.

Sory!!

With knife you can remove the original shift knob. I have MOMO shift knob on my Uno Turbo
