Hi!
I recently learnt that FIAT, in the past, made some fridges, and I want to share this curiosity with you.
I found this FIAT-badged fridge in a small flat that my parents rent for their holidays: one day I went to visit them and, to my surprise...
Unfortunately I didn't have my digital camera with me so I had to use the cellphone one I suppose it was made in the 60s, more or less. Notice the front logo, really seems a car one, plus that ice crystal on the bottom
The last photo is not very good, however it is the identification plate on the back, where it was possible to read "FRIGORIFERO TIPO 9010" (fridge type 9010) and then the serial number and more technical information.
Albeit very old, it worked like a charm, it was just a bit noisy when the compressor started or stopped. When we left, it was very difficult for me to accept the idea of leaving it there, I wanted to take it to my home
