Morning,
I am the proud owner of a new (to me anyways) Fiat Ducato 35 100m-jet LWB ACE Airstream. I just need some advice on the cam belt please. The vehicle has done 22440 miles and there id nothing paperwork wise re the Cam Belt. T It's a 2008 vehicle & really hasn't done much work. Should I think about getting it changed & what can I expect to pay?
Sorry if it's been covered before but the search function here isn't easy to use

I'm pretty sure the 2.2 100 engine fitted to the early x/250 is the Ford/Peugeot-sourced unit (not the Sofim 2.3 one fitted to other versions).

If this is so, then it is chain, not belt-driven cam, and the change interval (if indeed one is quoted at all) will be much longer than that for a belt, and might even be "for life".
