Technical Fiat Accessory ipod kit

Has anyone bought this kit and tried to fit it to a blue and me equipped car? Im having no sucess getting my blue and me ipod/iphone adaper to work with my iphone, so was thinking of other options.

best thing to do is get a 120gb classic ipod, or one of the nano's they might work

But to go to the trouble and expense of buying an iPod and downloading all my songs to it, for a might work. Hmmm.....I dunno

Do you want it just to play music or is it to allow the blue & me connection?

I use an old ipod for music storage and just converted all the songs to MP3 so it plays without any issues.

If its the phone functions i cant help

Play music, phone works with the blue and me no probs.

It's the iPhone that won't work with the USB and I've have the adapter too.

If the Fiat iPod kit allows you to plug into the back of the radio surely this is a better (hard wired) option

@stepheno which usb port are you using? the port on the B&M unit is very fragile and can break, I use the USB closest the door.

also, I've found from experience fake iphone/ipod cables don't work also.

I got it working in the end Reuuk, had to update the b&m unit (twice, don't think it had ever been done) and using the adapter it works! Success!
