128 Fiat 128 problem

Hi all, I have recently purchased a 1977 Fiat 128 panelvan. Im having a problem with it pulling to the right when i accelerate and it pulls to the left when i stop accelerating. Iv taken it for allignment and that made it far worse. While it was on the lift i got to inspect the suspension of which i found 3 cracks on the body. I dont think personally this is the reason. Any ideas?

jeepers my first ever fiat had it over 6 years 55000 miles, did they check the steering rack itself? could also try engine & gearbox mountings as time went on the mounting wore end the engine jumped about a bit pulling the driveshafts when ex/de-ex its only a suggestion.
