NOW and THEN , very rare but the car will be cold as its always a few hours after ive used it , i'll jump in the car start it and it wont start and a notice comes up saying exceeded radiator temp... anyone have any clues what this would be? ... the car should NOT be over heating as i got a forge intercooler and my radiator is still working fine... anyone have any ideas

its very rarely happens but when it does its annoying..

its usually due to low voltage in your battery, get it tested, and test output of alternator. this topic has been covered literally a million times, just click on search on the red toolbar above, and click on advanced....the type it excess rad then specify in grande punto section.

it can also be fixed by having dealer update software, but if its been in fiat for a service at least once since new, id guess its been done.

low voltage causes alsorts of false things to come up of the dash due to the can network needing a good healthy battery
