Technical Electric hell!

I finally got round to fitting the electric mirrors i brought of fleabay last year. Now the car won't even turn over, the immobiliser seems to click off, but it doesn't sound like there's any power to the started motor!!!! I can hear the fuel pump prime after turning the key, but after that nothing.
I've fitted a new battery and had a similar problem then, after i fitted my drivers side mirror, but it seem to sort itself out when i fiddled the immobiliser key hole thingy. I think the dreaded Italian electrics are haunting me!!

Anyone have any ideas or know a good auto electrician. The immobiliser is a Lazerline 921 (fitted well before my time).

Where abouts are you? Sounds like the immobiliser is causing more trouble than its worth!

I'm just outside Derby, i'm assuming its the immobiliser, it only started causing issues when i changed the battery and wired up the electric mirrors. I'm now wondering if its cause the electric mirrors weren't wired for a reason!! Just been out and tried again and to check i didn't dislodge anything when i changed the battery.

any ideas?
