Hi there. Would appreciate some advice from this great forum. I have a 2019 Fiat Ducato X290. 2.3 Multijet 2287cc (Euro 6) Ducato which houses my Motorhome. I’ve been very happy with it.
I had it serviced recently and then went touring in France over a couple of thousand of miles, I had my yellow engine warning light come on one day but it was only intermittent and I got home fine. I’ve taken it into my local private garage (not a Fiat Specialist) and when they booked it up they showed two historical engine management error codes:
P250A- 38. Oil level sensor In fault - Circuit short to battery
P0805-14. Clutch pedal Position Sensor - Circuit Short to Ground 0 - open
I obviously want any problem fixed but they say because the light is no longer on there is nothing they can do as they cannot see what the problem is. They need to see the vehicle when the engine warning light is on.
Can anyone advise what my next action should be as I obviously don’t want to leave it and especially as when I use it this is normally abroad in some remote places.
Would really appreciate any useful guidance. Many thanks!!
